flying tent® uses top of the line materials and components and is produced in a highly experienced factory. The rainfly is made with premium level ripstop nylon. The tight fabric with silicone finish makes the flying tent® water proof, offering a hydrostatic head rate of 5000mm, dries quickly and is fire-retardant. The bottom is a tear-resistant PU coated nylon with 5000mm hydrostatic head that keeps water out. Ripstop nylon and polyester are lightweight, strong and durable synthetic fabrics due to their polymer-based construction. Both fabrics are most commonly used for outdoor apparel or gear. Our fabrics are Oeko-Tex 100 certified and phthalate-free.

The integrated fine mesh mosquito net protects you from flying insects, including the Scottish midge. By removing the upper section using the zipper on the side, you can instantly transform flying tent® into a traditional hammock. The optional use of the hammock as rain poncho keeps you dry in rainy conditions.
